Slow Start

Well, I didn't exactly bolt out of the starting gate. First two days, my word count should ideally be at 3200-- instead, it's a measly 900. I find myself struggling with a lot of trepidation. I can write in short bursts, but I don't really know where I'm going still. Today I wasn't feeling well, either, so what did I do? Cuddle on the couch and eat chocolate chip cookies. Yeesh.

I'm putting everything I've written so far over here. I feel like what's there so far is OK, but I just don't know what to write about. I don't feel like I really know my main character well enough. But then again, we've really just met, so maybe in the coming days I'll be able to get into her head more easily.
