is in my throat
when I look at you.
Then you glance back
and it all drops
into my stomach.
First I can't talk,
then I can't move.

Adoration soon loses its sunlight glow
after I see him stretch
one possessive arm
and take that foreign curve
up against himself.
Her hair is perfect
and her teeth are so straight.
