Jetsam and Flotsam
Curse you, Daypop Top 40! I am now hooked for life. "Catnip" is a great song, "Do You Hear the Frog?" is an awesome tangent from Hip Hop/ scratching, and the cello/flute in "Shy Violet" are mesmerizing. I want, I want the album! Someone should make animations to go with those tunes. I would, but I don't have the art skills/ confidence to do it yet.
I've been reading about William Blake for the past week, and I have to say this interpretation strikes me as unique. What else should one expect from El Ragechico, though? As for the writings themselves, I prefer this.
I am now mousing left-handed. This is in an effort to reduce some of the strain that's becoming more and more apparent in my right arm/ shoulder, and also in part to determine what specific behaviors/ movements are causing the strain. It's weird, but so far it hasn't hindered me too much. I know this is probably incredibly boring for the average person to read about.
I'm also writing again. I mean real writing, not blog posting. That's why my posts have been a little thin of late. Expect to see two new short stories on Geek Icon in the near future. Poor thing, it's been so lonely.
I was disappointed by the whole Blog Meetup thing. I ended up being the only person to sign up for Bellingham. It's not like we're a huge metropolis, but we do have Western Washington University here. I figured that'd get at least a couple of other people from that. So I decided to use Blogchalking on Daypop to try and find any other Bellingham bloggers. Weirdly, that didn't seem to work either. So I just searched Daypop for any weblog that had "Bellingham" in it, and found Adam Gessaman. I was about to email him a message berating him for not doing the Blog Meetup thing when I saw that he had mononucleosis. Awwww... I sympathize.
