2007-11-06: Eucalyptus Handspun!
Back to some spinning, the first skein of naturally dyed yarn comes into being.
Sunday night I set aside some time for spinning, and naturally decided to tackle my newly-dyed top from Saturday.
I decided to just spin each colour up individually as a separate skein of a solid colour, so I started with the batch we dyed first, which was an olive/ khaki green. I got most of the singles done on Sunday night, and I finished it off and plied it last night.
The more I work with it, the more pleased I am at the results.
